The article attempts to explore the phenomenon of the legal force of corporate legal norms through the prism of a functional approach. It is stated that legal force is a multifaceted and unique phenomenon, which is determined by the variability of its understanding in science. It is noted that the universality of legal norms, as a result of their legal force, is achieved through a combination of elements: the content (normative or substantive obligation), which means a volitional instruction (requirement), and the form, which is expressed in the fixation of the command in the text of a legal document (formal obligation). The following functions of the legal force of corporate legal norms are identified and described: identification, signaling (identification), systematizing (comparing), differentiating, and guaranteeing. It is proved that corporate legal norms are identified as an appropriate legal means of regulatory regulation through the use of legal force.
