An analytical review of all changes that have occurred in the sphere of criminal legislation and its interpretation is a traditional practice for the author. The analysis covers the entire body of resolutions adopted by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in 2025, as well as the resolutions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated 2025. A study has been conducted and an assessment has been given to all amendments introduced to the criminal law in 2025. The past year has been dominated by a trend towards the tightening of criminal liability
