The phenomenology of interests of the mechanism of public law regulation is revealed. The specifics of the functioning of the mechanism of public law regulation in the public law sphere are revealed. It is determined that the functioning of the mechanism of public law regulation is not limited to "technical" regulation – the preparation, establishment, modernization, adjustment of regulatory legal acts and other sources of law. The systematization of law and the system of legislation are necessary for the self-sufficiency of legislation, its implementation and application. The interests of the legal regulation mechanism are related to ensuring a uniform understanding, interpretation, implementation and application of legal regulations in order to maximize the elimination of discrepancies and human errors affecting the effectiveness of ensuring the rule of law and legal order. The interests of the mechanism of legal regulation make it possible to optimize the activities of subjects of law-making, implementation and application of law. The conclusion is made about the unity and interaction of the legal means involved in the legal regulation of public relations.
